Words With Weight may be a literary magazine, but we are also a community of young activists! Do you want to engage in political and/or social activism? Below we have compiled a list of organizations that you can get involved with.

Many of these organizations explicitly outline different ways you can get involved (volunteering, internships, fellowships, etc.) If you don’t see an opportunity to help on their website, there is no harm in contacting them. We encourage you to reach out, ask questions, learn, and connect with likeminded people!
